Drive Pro/E from a Web Page

Is anyone out there driving Pro/E or Creo via a web page? If so can you share what the application or use is for doing so? Is it for some sort of product configurator? What PTC API technology are you using, web/link, J-link, Visual Basic or Toolkit?
