Question

Fastener catalogue

I wonder does anybody have any experience with Pro/Toolkit or J-Link applications for Screw catalog? We are interested in a free or low-cost application which will cover the most commonly used machine and self-tapping screws both metric and imperial. B&W’s Screws & Pins application seems to be very close to what we are looking for, but they don’t support the self-tappers. Have anybody tried to customize this catalog for adding the self-tappers? Does anybody aware about a good alternative to it?

Thanks in advance.

Jason, are you simply interested in a source of simple models? I usually download STEP files from McMaster-Carr then add densities, axis, etc...

No we want to have a true pro/e data base (single source) that we can work off. This woul include the ability to customise and also use it with PDM/link.
