File Open dialog box - Search

Hello, is there a way to search in the File Open dialog box for the number and not for the file name.

The dialog box is looking for the name of the file as it is stored on disk. Even in Windchill, it uses the original file name for the File-Open box.

No different than any other Windows application, filename is what they all look for.

Do you mean version number of the file? Like creopart.prt.22 ? If so, you can click on the Tools in the file open ribbon and check the box for All Versions.

No, I meant file number instead of file Name.

 

There may be a setting option in the config?
