Is Creo Ansys Simulation support elastoplastic material?

Hello friend,

I am facing an issue during study check in Creo Ansys simulation. I see this is because of elastoplastic material selected. later on, when I select linear Material, this is working fine, means no error showing.

 

I am selecting elastoplastic (nonlinear material) because my part is of plastic Material.

 

Now, my question is Does this Creo Ansys simulation support nonlinear material? If yes, please help me how to resolve this issue.

Hello!

 

Per the Creo Help Center, Creo Ansys Simulation does indeed support Elastoplastic materials. See here.

 

There is information on that page about how to define an elastoplastic material.

 

If this doesn't help you solve your problem I suggest logging a call with PTC Technical Support.
