Orient flat state on a drawing

Hi

I need to have the flat state placed flat on the drawing, for the lasercutter.

Is there a way to do this?

I'm thinking, create a saved orientation and use this on the drawing.

I doesn't matter how the part is oriented, just it is flat.

Thank you.

My problem is, I will like to automate the process you showed.

I will like the get Jlink to first make the flat, here after put the flat on the drawing on sheet 2, orientated flat in 1:1 scale.

My problem is I don't know how to orient it flat.

I can not help you with doing that using JLink, but can't you do it using a mapkey?
