Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known issue? Any workarounds? (other than, "don't do that!" 🙂

Summary - after some research, this seems to be related to having thumbnail previewing turned on in your windows explorer. A suggestion below is to remove the thumbplug.dll from windows on the computer or turn off thumbnail generation in PTC (WF/WC) I assume these solutions will have other ramifications for thumbnails not being available in WC and orher applications and folders. So for now, I have asked the user to not have these thumbnail previews on in windows explorer.

There is a known issue we have experienced with Explorer crashing with Creo 1.0 and Win 7 64. The issue is caused by the thumbnail viewer. Fix the issue by deleting 'thumbplug.dll' from the computer. This has worked for us.
