When Visual Studio has compile errors with some ProToolkit\Includes files

Lost my hard drive so I am having to rebuild my toolkit development environment.  Using Creo 3 so its Visual Studio 12, with update 4 added.   Some of my programs that would successfully build in my last system are returning errors.  When I check into it, the source of the errors are in the ProToolkit\Include programs, such as ptapplsunicodeutils.c.  Anyone seen this?   Sure I can go in there and tweak those files, such as initializing a pointer to NULL.  But that just sets me up for future failures with new date codes and versions.
