Question

Windchill based PDMs ruining automation

I am testing the Windchill intralink system. I have several toolkit
apps that automate model regeneration. Our assemblies are automated
using the top down design process, and morph to whatever the parameter
vals are set to. One in particular opens a the drawing for every part
in the assembly. During the drawing retrieval process we are now
thrown warning messages that we need to check out the drawing, because
the parts have morphed. They need userinteraction, so they stop the
process. I am curious as to how others are dealing with these types
of issues.

You can set the following 2 config.pro options:

dm_checkout_on_the_fly continue
dm_auto_conflict_resolution yes
