Problem exporting from *.ed file using CreoView MCAD

Good morning,

We've recently migrated from ProductView to PTC CreoView MCAD, but our database still uses ProductView *.ed file format. PTC CreoView however always crashes when I try to export a component to a neutral format like *.stp. The problem shows up only when using *.ed files. Does anyone know the solution?
