EFX - Export as CIM/2

Good Afternoon,

i would be intersting to know if you are planing to integrate the export/import as CIM/2 format in to the next release of EFX?

    Hello Nicols,

    no plans to export CIM2 at the moment. I remember you told me that you want to export/import with a software named SCIA ??

    I think this software also can export/import SDNF which is supported by EFX.

    Stefan,

    the exchange as CIM/2 or CIS/2 concerns more than just SCIA software. Most of the Steel manufacturing or analysis software are now using this format. I think for example about ProSTEEL or Xsteel or Staad.pro or Scia.

    As you know we are using EFX for basic steel structure and the detail are done in prosteel or xsteel depending of our suppliers.. so it will be a real advantage for us to reuse the work done in Pro/ENGINEER ( EFX) for the detail part...
