Question

Creo Direct Drafting 20.0 Freezes

First af all, as far as last friday Creo Drafting was normally working...

Now it start normally but at the firsth command you give it freezes. Nothing to do...

only Windows task manager --> End Task.

This is already happend on other machine and the only solution we found it has been to format the machine

Someone has some idea to solve this problem?

Creo Element Drafting do not became slow....i have not load anything...

Tt Crash at firsth command you do.

Some basic questions for a better understanding of the situation, I apologize if you already check:

 

After having formatted the machine, is it back to normal or not?

What is the complete version of Drafting?

Is it Windows 10?

Is your license server still working?

Is Drafting correctly connected to the license server?

Do you have any customizing macros?

Did something change after friday (hardware, Windows update, customizing macros changes, ...)?

Do any command crash Drafting?

Just after starting Drafting, whitout clicking anywhere, is the mouse pointer of Drafting free to move?

Do Drafting crash at the very first command, or after a few commands?

Answers:

1) After formatted everything are OK

2) CoCreate Me10 Releasse 20.0 25-Jan-2018

3) Windows 10

4) License Server works OK

5) Connection are OK ( in file Password -->  LICENSE_SERVER 'srvcad01' If you change it do not start )

6) Full Customization 

7) Nothing are change... in apparence..

😎 No only when you use drawing command....Line, Circle

9) Everything seams to be OK but you can not Drawing

10) ....

During my answers i have found what is the problem...

If the variable

UA_TEXT_BOX_MODE = WINDOWED Me10 Crash

UA_TEXT_BOX_MODE = GRAPHICAL Me10 Work OK

Now i would like to know WHY ?
