IDEAS TO DIRECT DRAFTING (2D)

Does anyone have experience with transitioning from IDEAS to CREO ELEMENTS DIRECT DRAFTING (2D only)? 

 

Current struggle is exporting a .sym from IDEAS to CEDD, which I am finding is near impossible.

I wonder if the translator can't process a symbol file .sym try exploding the symbols in the I-deas drawing before translating it.

Yea,  I think the .sym is the issue. Will try your solution and see what I get. We are migrating to CEDD and I am trying to not lose all the symbols we have in IDEAS.
