Short script to create an attribute

Hello everyone,

I am trying to find where I can learn how to write a "repeatable" hot key.

For some testing purposes I need to create one attribute in some 3D Models.

I have of course no problem to create it manually 🙂 However, in order to check in the test assembly into a test server, I need to repeat it for all the components and sub assemblies and there are about 2000 of them.

I am trying to learn (unless someone talented and generous enough write the code in the post :)) how to create a hotkey or script that will go to all the prt and asm files in the session and create the attribute

ATTRIBUTE1, type string, value = xxxxx and it is a designated attribute.
