Assistance with Bulk Tag Value Update in KEPServerEX Mitsubishi PLC Channel

Hi Team,

 

I have approximately 2000 tags configured in the KEPServerEX Mitsubishi PLC Channel. When I open the Quick Client, all tags show good quality and actual values. However, I am now looking to write or change the value of all 2000 tags at once, instead of selecting and entering values for each individual tag manually.

Could you please advise if there is an easy way to update all the tags in bulk within KEPServerEX or Quick Client? Any recommendations for handling this in a more efficient way would be highly appreciated.

Hello,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing in response to your query regarding the ability to write multiple tags at once in a 'real' client application. While it is possible to do so in a 'real' client application, it is important to note that our QC is not designed to support this functionality.

 

Yes, You can write multiple tags at once in a 'real' client application, but the Quick client  is not designed to do that. All of the writes will be transmitted to the devices one at a time (by design) unless the items written are in an array.
