Best practice to connect two OPC clients

Hi,

I have two OPC clients (both support DA and UA) which I would like to connect via an existing KepServer instance with OPC connectivity suite installed. 

What is the best practice here to create/add the OPC tags to KepServer.

My initial thought of using simulated tags (without a simulation function) and connecting both OPC clients with the KepServer Simulation Driver works, but I am not sure if this is the best way for production environment. 

Could you assist me on this?
