hello,

i'm a new user of thingworx plateform. I have ,no data on one of the machines so i checked the connection kepserver/client and there is this error : Channel failed to connect. | Status description = 'Could not establish a network connection to remote server.', Status code = 0X80AC0000.

Any ideas why this is happening and how to solve it ?

Many thanks

Please check the following points -

  • Firewalls/Routers/Switches all have the correct rules to allow the requested port opened bi-directionally
  • Verify device at the target IP address can accept connections on the requested TCP port
  • Verify device at the target IP address is powered on, connected and available on the network
  • Check and install the latest windows updates on the host side if required
  • check the Test-NetConnection [host] -Port [port number]in powershell
  • Verify device at the target IP address is powered on, connected and available on the network
  • Sometimes the target Windows OS may block the OPC UA Server Application after a power off and restart
Allow the OPC UA Server Application
