KEPServerEX License

We have a Mariocotta slitter HMI/Industrial PC. The mSATA hard drive failed on the PC. We replaced the drive with a new one, & restored that drive from an old Veeam backup of the system. When we restored it, the Kepware Allen Bradley perpetual license was missing. We have been unable to apply the license on the new drive. We are currently utilizing the emergency 7 day license. What is the normal procedure in this scenario? Our vendor is telling us we will need to buy a new license, but this looks like it could simply be rehosted since the only thing to change was the HDD (PC is the same PC).

You can reset the affected license through self service or requesting through support case, then repair/reinstall the license that has been reset. Don’t forget to return/transfer the emergency license before reinstalling the normal license.
