CREO 8.0.5 crashes when closing Material Removal Simulation

CREO 8.0.5.0. Parametic / Manufacturing / Material Removal Simulation

When closing material removal simulation in manufacturing, CREO is crashing. In the past, I have chalked it up to be a large amount of sequences(Large programming file). But today, it has crashed more than a handful of times. And the program has only 7 sequences so it is on the smaller side. I tried to re-create the crash and not been able to do it. I have made a point to close the same way every time inside of the material removal simulation.

 

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? And how to fix it.

Programs aren't supposed to crash, so you haven't done anything wrong. Bugs are inevitable and expected with a program as large and dynamically updated as Creo.

 

The first step is to update your software to see if the bug has been fixed. The latest Creo 8 is 8.0.11.0, so that is quite a few bug releases from your version. I would, if possible, instead upgrade to a later version like 10 or 11.
