Helical plunge?

Hello guys

could someone tell me is there a way for the cutter to plunge in a helical way in trajectory miliing at a specified radius instead of plunging at 90degrees or ramping.

Here is a helical approach on a pocket. If this is what you are looking for. the helical approach has to be after the plunge move and the parameter angle is 720 to do 2 turns. The clearance distance, radius and angle are up to you. hope this helps.

What I do is make 2 datum planes. 1 labeled start which is a distance above the part to start off the work and 1 labeled depth which is a diatance below the part so the cutter goes all the way through.For me this is the fastest way to get the helical cut to start off the part. Maybe some one else has a better idea but this is how I do it at least on holes. If you are looking at random shapes there are options for helical entry available in trajectory milling also.
