How to get cutting effort in PDX

Hi,
I am creating a strip layout in PDX, and want to see the cutting effort, but the value i get is 0.00ton(s)/N.
I have checked & assigned all the material properties, but still no cutting efforts is available to me.
Do anyone know how to get this value. Am I missing something?
