- B.S. or M.S in mechanical engineering degree or physics degree, and a minimum of three years of continuous practice as a registered professional engineer in Canada.
- A minimum of four years of Oil and Gas experience at the manufacturing or EPCM level, working directly with the design of packaged equipment governed by ASME and API codes
- Registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGGA
- Thorough applied knowledge of ASME BPVC code, ASME B31.3 code and CSA z661 code
- Stamping experience with PFD and P&ID drawings related to packaged equipment
- Proven experience and expertise in equipment design project management
- Demonstrable expertise in client & stakeholder interactions and negotiations
- Perform pressure vessel calculations (e.g.: DesignCalc, Compress and PVElite)
- Perform piping system stress analysis (e.g.: Caesar II and Autopipe)
- Performing valve sizing
- Registering vessels and piping systems with ABSA and BCSA
- Managing an ISO 9001-comliant quality management system
