Splitting mold cavity with sand cores

I am trying to split mold cavities with sand core inserted. But unable to do so. Can anybody please help with an example?

but we are looking at creating a sand core for a sand cast part.

We need to create a core and extract it from mold cavity.

I guess the assembly you need is what PTC calls "cast cavity" not "mold cavity". Not sure if you got the correct one.

There should be an option to create "cast cavity" under file -> new -> manufacturing.

I imagine creating a "sand core" should be pretty similar to creating "mold insert", but i don't know for sure. How to split the cavity should be shown in the vid.

Could you please post an image of the reference part to better understand your problem?
