May I know how the thread sizes are identified in hole chart. For example how to differentiate M10x1(pitch) and M10X1.5(pitch) threads separately in hole chart.

As a continuation to above thread, the following need to be updated in EMX. Example the below cooling nipple thread size is m10X1(pitch). But in UDF cosmetic thread parameter it is given as 1.5 pitch.

Hi Abhinand,

there are different ways to differentiate between regular threads and fine pitch threads.

  1. You can use a parameter to do this. In your picture for example ‘PITCH’ or ‘THREAD_PER_INCH’ is defined. You can simply add this parameter to your Holechart Table.

  2. You can use the drill hole diameter of your thread and set Holechart option ‘DIAMETER_FOR_THREADNAMES’ to ‘HOLE’.

Hope this will solve your problem.

Regarding your changes in EMX, I have forward this to @tschneyer  who takes care about EMX.
