"Training" materials for learning to do wire EDM programming in Creo

Has anyone got any training materials or tips on using Creo manufacturing functionality to program a wire EDM machine? We have a “Complete Machining” license. I’ve been using the standard 3-axis milling functionality (with a 0.010 inch “endmill”) to generate the necessary G-code for 2D profiles. It’s fine, I guess. My problem is when I need to define non-2D cuts. I’ve been resorting to creating points at the different Z heights of the cuts and “processing” them via Excel to create G-code with the necessary X, Y, U, and V values. It’s not fun.

So, if anyone has been doing wire EDM programming and wants to point me to any information that might make it more efficient for me, please let me know. Perhaps there are 4- or 5-axis methods that would work, with the proper post-processor? Will I have to write my own post?
