I'm in the process of developing a thread milling process but I am not getting the correct tool path.  I need a single pass tool path but I'm not able to find the right parameter combination to get single pass. I using a solid tool defined in Creo to simulate a multi-tooth cutter.

I think the thread milling tool is the problem. In PTC's infinite wisdom flutes are not flutes for a thread milling tool. Flutes are the number of thread profiles on the tool. Measure the lenght of profiles and divide by the pitch of the thread. Round to a whole number and put this in the "number of flutes" for the tool. This should change the number of turns the tool makes.
