Active variable

Hello every one,

Could anyone help me how to make the active variable in working MC, e.g. Mky:= …. , Mk*y:= ….. (M superscript ky or k*y) and M(k*y):= …… (M subscript (k*y))?

I'm a little confused exactly what your after.

Are k and y scalars?

That like the * (star) or just the hole notation like in M*.

You will have to go into special character mode.

Type M and then leave the cursor on the right hand side of the letter.

Then press ctrl shift k - this should turn the cursor red and will allow special characters to be inserted. Just repeat the steps to exit the mode.
