d2 has to be blow 0.3 

 

but the answer is 0.3

Hi,

Mathcad 15 is correct you just need to look at more decimal places.

It also pays to try checked or unchecked the use exact equality option

Not sure what you mean.

"Find()" is a minimization routine that seeks one and only one solution based on the guess values you choose.

Different guess values could find a different solution but only one solution.

What do you mean by "range"
