Hi

I have a query on the backward compatibility of Mathcad Prime 9.

Can I directly open in Mathcad Prime 9 the files created using Mathcad Prime 8 or Prime 7 ?

I understand that for file created using Mathcad Prime prior to 7 and Mathcad 15, we would need a convertor.

Warm Regards

Vijay

Hi,

you need to run conversion only in case that you need to open .xmcd file (saved in Mathcad 15) in Mathcad Prime.

You can open .mcdx file saved Mathcad Prime X.0 version in Mathcad Prime Y.0 where Y > X.
