Description:

          This application computes the seismic forces, shears, and overturning moments at each level of a building, following the Equivalent Lateral Force Procedure of Section 9.4 of ASCE Standard 7-93. The building must meet the limitations for use of this procedure given in section 9.3.5 of ASCE Standard 7-93.

This is really very good worksheet for seismic calculation. May you please provide mathcad file ?

Well, Tudor stopped working at PTC well over a decade ago.

I’ll get the Community admins on the task of seeing if there ever was a Mathcad worksheet for this post to begin with (it was migrated from the old platform), but I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

The original source is a Mathcad 15 E-book on Building Structural Design by Thomas P. Manger, P.E.

Here is the file that has Identical numerical values and formulas.  It just needs converting to latest Prime.

File dates from 2004 so there may be rule changes since then?
