I have found what looks to be a lot of usfull examples on the PTC website but many of them are Prime files, whereas I have MathCAD 15. Is there a way to see the content of of the .mcdx files without prime?

Thanks,

No. You can't even see the contents of a Prime 3.1 file in Prime 3.0. And Prime 3.1 can't save back to Prime 3.0 format! Amazing, but true

Are you looking for something specific? Maybe there is a Mathcad 15 compatible worksheet available.

You can use Mathcad Prime 3.1 Express version as a free viewer for Prime ".mcdx" files. Also you can specify these worksheets and we can provide them in PDF or XPS formats for you. Link for Express version: Free Math Software Download | PTC
