cannot acivate with a licensed key file.

Trying to Activate with the Key file that you emailed me, but it will do nothing after browsing to the license key location on my computer. I selected the product to be activate and all I have is the screen that says Done, the following products has been licensed (PTC Mathcad Prime 6.0.0.0), and my only choice is to Exit. if I do Exit, it still says 28 days left or less days.

    I understand is, you are expecting academic version of Mathcad which is for free however you try to get a license for Trial it shows a validity for 30 days or lesser?

    Mathcad Trial edition is valid for 30 days after which the license will expire, and Mathcad will continue to function with limited features (Mathcad Express) which is mainly used to open the existing worksheets which is free for life. To know more about the capabilities of Mathcad Express you can refer to https://www.mathcad.com/en/capabilities/comparison-chart and https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/What-is-Mathcad-Express/td-p/90120.

    As far as I know, there is Student version of Mathcad available for students which needs to be purchased separately through PTC E-Store at https://store.ptc.com/store/ptc/en_US/list/ThemeID.21925700/categoryID.10011800 . Student Edition license is valid for a year made available at a reduced price compared to enterprise licenses. This will have access to all the features in Mathcad.

    If you can share the link or a page where it is mentioned that Mathcad is free for the students, I can check internally at PTC and get back to you.

    Please clarify your issue more in detail.

     

    Are you able to launch Mathcad Prime 6.0.0.0?

    Are you able to use full functionality of Mathcad Prime using trial license?

    Are you getting any error? If yes, please share snapshot of error.
