Changing MathCAD Prime 10 language

Unfortunately this is only possibly by adding a command line switch when calling the program.

It may look like this:

"C:\Program Files\PTC\Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0\MathcadPrime.exe" /culture:en-US

You may create a desktop icon  for the program and add that switch in the 'target' field.

Supported languages are:

BUT ... this will not affect Prime files you open by double clicking the file, like files you find attached in a thread here in the forum.
To work for theses files, too, you would have to fiddle around in the registry!

Its very silly and annoying that PTC has not implemented an easier option for changing the language from within the program itself and storing it in a config file, so it will be in effect no matter which way the program is started.
