I am trying to convert some v13 files to run under Prime 3.1. The xmcd, mcd icon is greyed out under the input/output tab?

You need to install Mathcad 15, which you can get here: http://www.ptc.com/product/mathcad/free-trial/thank-you. To license it, use your Prime license file.
