While still getting used to Prime 7 I stumbled across an article that was a detailed listing of all the differences between the Legacy Symbolics Engine and the New Symbolics Engine. It detailed format differences, equation and variable ordering changes, computational changes, etc., and was many pages long.
I didn't save it and now cannot find it again. Does anyone have a reference or link to that?

As often occurs with PTC stuff, the link does NOT lead to any information about the differences between the symbolic engines.
How true! But in this case the text at least gives a hint on how to arrive at the page of interest. Thats more as is provided in other cases ...
I don't think that there are any differences between the entry in the P7 and the P8 help and I certainly wouldn't rely on all the relevant differences being listed here:
