Excel component - clean old values

I am using excel component in Mathcad to display output. Input to excel component changes based on previous calculations. Sometimes there are manual inputs in excel components. These numbers stay there if not deleted manually. Is there any way to clean all residual data in excel and then populate output in excel component? Thanks.

In Mathcad Prime there are built-in functions for cleaning the set of variables. Functions of cleaning of variables: "clear(x, y, ...)" and "clear.sym(x, y, ...)".

I am using Mathcad 15 and dont see the function

This is a new function for Mathcad and is only available in Mathcad Prime.

But I guess it would not help to automatically update Excel components either (if that was the question - not sure).
