The file can not be opened with the latest version Prime to date and Prime is telling me that it was created with a more recent version.

Not very helpful.

Guess it was created using a prerelease of Prime 3.1. Is P3.1 still not able to save at least for older Prime versions?

I am wondering why that file was posted here, though, and what new we are supposed to see.

I think they are trying to show the use of the Excel syntax. While I believe this is a decent improvement in terms of selecting the data, I do not think defining it outside of the Excel component is a good idea as the cell range within the Excel component is not displayed.

I remember pushing a lot for improved Embedded Excel (EE) features and I have to admit PTC did not disappoint. Being able to select data as shown is a massive improvement.
