Question

Having issues when importing a calculation sheet using Include command.

I have two calculation sheets: One is L55-529.7255, and the second one is L55-538.6610. I need to import the functions E529 and U1 into the L-55-538.6610.

And the values of E529 and U1 are added to E538 and U2. All the functions are defined with matrix notation. But when I apply the command “Include” the function E529 is ok in the sum, but U1, it says “this variable is undefined. Check that the label is set correctly”. But if you escrow down to the last sheet in the file L55-529.7255, you can see that there are no errors and that I am able to sum E529+U1.

I tried in the opposite way, importing L-55-538.6610, using “Include” into L55-529.7255 and I have the exact same error. But I cannot find what the problem is with the U1 function when this is imported in L-55-538.6610 and U2 when this is imported into L55-529.7255. I am including the two files.

The functions U1 and U2 are defined in the before last page, and all the sums are completed in the last page. The majority of the calculations are inside collapsible areas.

I add an instruction in the page 10 of 11 of the L-55-538.6610 file so, you can use the command “Include” to import the other file at that location in the calculation sheet.

To save you some time, you only need to focus in pages 10 and 11 of the two calculation sheet.

I tried to upload the two Prime 12 files, but for some unknown reason, i cannot do that. Please, let me know the instructions to upload the files. I tried the option above that says “upload files” but it did not work. So, i used the option pasting a link. you can see that below.

This Prime forum does not allow Prime files as attachment. But if you put the file(s) into an archive (zip, rar, ...) you are allowed to upload that archive.

see the attached zip file.

Can’t help with your question as I don’t have access to a fully licensed version of Prime and so I did not bother to download and install Prime 12. Even if I would have installed P12 I guess I could not help as the problem would require the use of ‘premium’ features not available in the free Express version.
So all I could do was answering your question about uploading Prime files here in the forum ;-)
