How to fit long equations on a page

If you are talking about large result of, lets say, symbolic evaluations, there is now way to show them in full length other than reducing the font size for that region.

If you are talking about expressions you write yourself, you can create a line break at every basic operation (+,-...) by pressing Ctrl-Alt-<operation character> (remark: keyboard shorts on non-English keyboards can be quite demanding, not intuitive and uncomfortable).

But I am not sure which version of Prime introduced this 'Equation Break' feature and if its already available in Prime 3.

The oldest version I have installed is P5 and Equation Break is available there.
But Equation Break is a Premium feature (honestly!) and so would not be available in the free Express version.

What is the particular reason that you don't wish the equation to overrun the displayed page width?

Do you want to print the equation on proper paper? 

If it's the visual appearance that offends, then an option might be to change the margins to Narrow (if that exists in Prime 3), select Draft mode, switch to Landscape mode, or even change the paper size (I choose A3 Landscape when the mood strikes me).
