how to key in literal prime, ' on variable

Is it possible to have literal prime, " ' " on a variable, not part of the derivatives.

Please advise.

The key sequence "cntrl-shift-k" (in version 15) will allow non-standard characters in variable names.

I've found another key for " ' ", it's at the same key as "~".
