Question

How to re-install Mathcad Prime 3.1 into a new computer?

The hard drive in my new laptop where mathcad prime 3.1 was installed was crashed.

The computer will be replaced with a new one soon.

Once I get it, how can I re-install the software?

Hi Heejoon,

If you have a PTC account and are on maintenance (which I assume is true since you have the latest version of Prime), you can go here to download the software: https://support.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/index.jsp

I am assuming that you have a node-locked license, which now needs to be transferred over to a new Mac Address. You can request this by going here, clicking "Licensing" and then clicking "Move a license from the existing machine to another".
