is there a cheaper solution to using Creo in Prime 3.0

I would like to use interactive 2d drawing in mathcad where variables can be passed to active dimensions in the drawing and redraw it to scale with dimensions displayed. Years ago this was possible using smartsketch which was actually supplied free with mathcad.

Is there a similar solution for prime 3.0 that doesn't invovle buying Creo?
