That is because these posts are from the previous millennium. Since then a lot has happened. Most influence is due to the fact that PTC have acquired Mathsoft and managed to destroy most, if not all, of the forum contents that was created before, say 2005.

If you have a specific problem or question don't hesitate to post it. There are still enough people active on this forum who are willing and may be able to help you.
