On January 18 the official announcement of the PTC company about the new PTC Mathcad Gateway software product took place. PTC Mathcad Gateway is a calculation server that provides universal access to calculations at any time, on any device.

Users quickly access the calculations via a web browser (no special software required) and get results for their specific scenarios without ever having direct access to your IP.

Each web form, developed using Microsoft Visual Studio, leverages a PTC Mathcad worksheet and communicates to the web service over HTTP or HTTPS. PTC Mathcad Gateway is developed as a Microsoft Web Service hosted on IIS, which is a free web server from Microsoft. PTC Mathcad Gateway adheres to your existing security model and authentication methods."
