Mathcad Prime 12 XMCD converter is grayed out

how can we convert xmcd files if converter is not working, is this a bug any workarounds?

Usually this means that you had not installed the converter.

To install the converter you have to explicitly check the option to do so - by default its unchecked.

If you forgot to do so, you can run the installer once again and add the converter.
