Question

Mathcad Prime 6 - Math Formatting - CRASHES

When using Math Formatting on a multiple selection it completely crashes the program.

On top of that, it shows this message about succesfully saving the file and when this saved/recovery file is open, it fails to open it saying "wrong format".

It looks to me like 2 bugs tightly linked together.

Anybody else experiencing the same problem?

I use math formatting extensively in and out of text regions.

I don’t have any problems.

Prime has been rock solid for me since 3.1.

Anyway, can you explain more or share a screen shot ?

Congratulations about your experience with Mathcad Prime.

For me it has been of great help and really helpful.

It has been reported to PTC support team and they are working on it.

I trust they will solve it, it is not the first time I had a problem and they solved it.

When a solution is found I will update this discussion.

I'm not seeing this behavior on Prime 4, 5, or 6.  I'm running on Windows 10 build 1809 and 1903.  Using .NET 4.8.  This "feels" like a .NET issue.

Which version of Windows are you using?

Is your MS .Net Framework up to date?  Latest recommended version is 4.8

Thanks for the advice.

I have reinstalled 4.8.

I will see if it improves.
