Mathcad Prime and Wolrd

There is an old philosophical parable about how one user was waiting for a new Mathcad for a long time and rebuked PTC, telling the company that the Lord God created the world in seven days, and PTC was busy with Mathcad Prime for a whole year. PTC was not at a loss and answered like this: "Look at this World and look at Mathcad!"

"Do you really want to go there?", asked The Lord, "You're not making things any better, I'm afraid.".

 

From Lamentations:

 

"But many Mathcadders—those for whom the Mathcad versions 1..15 were prepared—were non-support users because of the burdensome price of Prime.  And PTC did throw them into outer darkness, where there was weeping and gnashing of teeth.  Even within the ranks of those with annual support, there was wailing at the remberance of what once was, and many did leave to seek refuge within the walls of PTC's enemies.”

 

Let's hope Prime 8 makes the wait worthwhile ...
