MC14 Move to WIN8

A colleague uses a seat of MC14 from XP (possibly WIN7) 32bit, but now had to move to WIN8 64bit. MC14 installation issues occurred. Is MC14 possible on WIN8? I welcome suggestions/recommendations.

Mathcad 14 should run on windows 8 as easy as it runs on windows 10. See here: MathCad 14 failure to start.
