minimize simply reproduces guess values

hi all,

i'm using minimize to "fit" a function in prime 2.  However, the result simply mimics my initial guess!  even as i change the initial guesses.  anything i should peak at before i upload my sheet.

Hard to say without seeing what you do.

Isn't "minerr" more appropriate to fit a function? You may find examples here in the forum.

Maybe you can even use "genfit".

If you can't show your work you may consider setting up a simplified and smaller worksheet to show what you try to do.
