Question

Must re-enter Student license after restart

I have a problem with Mathcad 15 on Windows 10. Whenever the computer is restarted I am forced to re-enter the student license. Is there a way to fix this so I don't have to dig up my license and go through the licensing process every time my computer reboots?

Where is the copy of your license? If it is not in the folder that Mathcad looks to find the license, it can only be found when you guide it there. So you need to copy the license into that folder.

I purchased the license through the university and I only have a code that
I have to enter. I open mathcad and click acquire license via the internet,
followed by clicking the student radio button and entering the student
code. Can I get a license file from somewhere using my code?
The code I have is of the form ##############-####-####

I understand the situation now. You don't have a license, the college does. You are accessing their license with the code. You could inquire PTC about getting your own Academic License. I have an Academic License because I am a part time Instructor. It needs to be renewed every year but once it is setup properly you will not have the problem you are experiencing.
