In USA the first day of week is Sundy.

In Russia the first day of week is Monday.

The number of the first day of week is 0 or 1?

In Russia week also started from Sunday in calendars until 1929.

Calendar 1929Calendar 1929

Calendar 1930Calendar 1930

After that there was 5 day week for a couple of years.

After that the regular week returned and it became usual to start week from Monday in calendars.
